- Thanks to Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism, we got to visit Bali and Jakarta! Here we did the sea walk at one of the beaches in Bali. :D It was one of my favorite parts of the trip!! It makes me want to go scuba diving, although I imagine that's probably a lot harder!
Things to keep in mind if you ever want to try this:
1. The water pressure can hurt your ears a LOT. If you're congested at all, or have a cold, you're not supposed to go! Jun had to go up earlier because one of his ears hurt too much.
2. The air running through the helmet is pretty thin. By the end of it I felt short of breath and was more than ready to get out of the water!
3. I got bit by a fish, and I saw someone else before me who got bit, too, so... that happens.
4. The wait was REALLY long. After they gave us a ride to the pontoon station thing, we waited about an hour for our turn.
5. You have to share wet suit and water shoes and everything with everyone else. It was a little icky. D:
But all that said... it was still worth it!! The divers were super professional and they came right up to Jun and got him out of the water when he wanted to go up. They also have options for scuba diving if you want to do that instead. I really want to try that!
